Steve Agnew was a far happier caretaker manager after our battling cup replay win at Luton on Tuesday evening.
Agnew, who was left shocked at the woeful display at Hull on Saturday, said after Wednesday’s 1-0 win at Kenilworth Road: “That was terrific, I’m really pleased with the players. This was a very tricky tie and I thought we stood up to it well.
“From a spectator point of view it was a terrific cup tie. A proper FA Cup game with passion, effort and determination.
“Now we have a terrific cup tie to look forward to at Chelsea. We are looking forward to that but first we have a tough home fixture with Wigan on Saturday.”
