The London Owls wish all our members – and your families – a very happy and healthy New Year.
Who knows just what the next 12 months will hold for us on the pitch but, this being Sheffield Wednesday, then at least that’s no different to usual.
What we do know is that we will continue to support our great club in the hope, rather than expectation, that some day soon (well, soonish!) we will return to where we believe we belong … the Premier League.
Thanks also to Richard Shore, a London Owl for many a year before his move to Sheffield, for this accompanying photograph of Hillsborough from last Sunday.
It was undoubtedly the highlight of the 90 minutes and as Richard’s caption says: ‘The sun goes down on another decade of football at this glorious stadium’.
Now we look to that next decade and, once again, send best wishes for 2020 to all London Owls … past and present and near and far.
