Sam Winnall is expected to continue his comeback from injury with another runout for the under-23s on Saturday.
Winnall marked his return to action after a serious knee ligament injury with a goal for the academy side against Crewe last week, when he played the first 45 minutes.
Jos Luhukay hopes Winnall will now get at least an hour under his belt when the under-23s travel to play Hull on Saturday.
Central defender Joost van Aken is also back in full training after suffering an ankle injury in the Carabao Cup tie at Sunderland in August and Luhukay hopes he will continue his progression by playing for the under-23s in the coming weeks.
