Westwood or Wildsmith for QPR game?

Darren Moore has to decide whether to recall Keiren Westwood for tomorrow’s Championship clash at mid-table QPR.

Westwood returned to the bench for Monday’s 5-0 thrashing of Cardiff, following his rib injury, and the question for Moore is does he stick with replacement Joe Wildsmith or bring Westwood back into the starting line-up.

After the Cardiff victory, we go into tomorrow’s game eight points from safety with seven matches remaining and knowing that we need five wins from those remaining fixtures to give ourselves a realistic chance of survival.

While we have no new injury problems for the QPR trip, manager Moore will continue to be absent due to his recent positive Covid test.

Moore says he will again be in touch with assistant Jamie Smith by phone during the game and will speak with the players beforehand via video call.

The manager added that he is on the road to recovery and is planning to be back In with the squad for training on Monday.

The QPR game is live on Sky Sports, kick off 3pm.

Following the passing of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, all fixtures across this weekend will be preceded by a two-minute silence.

Players, coaching staff and match officials will also wear black armbands as a mark of respect.
