Keiren Westwood’s outstanding form for Wednesday this season could earn him a starting place in the Republic of Ireland’s European Championship side this weekend.
Westwood, who is odds-on favourite to be the club’s Player of the Year this season, must have an excellent chance of being named as number one by Republic of Ireland boss Martin O’Neill when they face Poland in Dublin on Sunday evening in their latest Euro qualifier.
Millwall’s David Forde has been the first choice keeper in previous qualifying matches.
