We’ll be up for Millers clash says Stuart

A home derby against Rotherham on Saturday is probably the best game Wednesday could have after the Bournemouth defeat, according to head coach Stuart Gray.

The 2-0 reverse to the Cherries means Wednesday have won just one game in eight Championship matches at Hillsborough this season – scoring a paltry three goals in the process – and seeing the Owls slump to only five points above the bottom three.

Gray said: “It’s probably the best thing that we are playing Rotherham at home on Saturday. The crowd will be up for it and one thing I do know is that the players are very disappointed with tonight’s performance and will definitely be up for it on Saturday.”
