Wednesday wait on a fitness update on Glenn Loovens ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bristol City.
Loovens limped off after 25 minutes of the win over Blackburn on Tuesday evening with what appeared to be an ankle injury. The skipper had received treatment after blocking an effort from former Owl loanee Ben Marshall and went down again a few minutes later, resulting in his substitution.
Vincent Sasso came on for Loovens, with Tom Lees taking the captain’s armband, and Sasso is the likely replacement again on Saturday if Loovens fails to recover in time.
