Wednesday will assess the extent of Sam Hutchinson’s injury over the next 48 hours after his latest setback.
Hutchinson limped off with a knee injury after just seven minutes of his comeback against Watford, the midfielder sustaining this blow as he landed when challenging for a header.
Stuart Gray said: “We’ll have to see on Sam. I haven’t had a chance yet to sit down and discuss it properly with the medical team so we’ll have a full assessment on Sunday or Monday.”
Gray said that Lewis Buxton missed the Watford game after injuring a knee in training on Friday.
