Wednesday have signed Hull city midfielder Seyi Olofinjana on an emergency loan deal until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old is well known to Dave Jones, the Owls boss having signed him for £1.7m from Norwegian club Brann in 2004. He then moved to Stoke four years later for £3m and, after another 12 months, joined Hull for the same fee.
The Nigerian international linked up with Jones again when he spent a season-long loan at Cardiff in 2010.
He will wear shirt number 23 and is available for Saturday’s relegation clash with Barnsley.
