Wednesday were left looking back at missed opportunities after suffering a second successive defeat in a 2-1 reverse at Watford last night.
We looked a different side from Saturday’s defeat against Forest, posing the home side all sorts of problems in the first half and fully deserving the lead through Michail Antonio after 19 minutes.
We peppered the home goal with several openings before the break and Connor Wickham missed a great chance early in the second half when he headed wide.
However, we paid for missed opportunities when Fernando Forestieri struck twice on 53 and 63 minutes to steal the points.
Even then, Wednesday rallied late on but we just could not find the finishing touch to earn a point which our overall play probably deserved.
