Wednesday have recalled Caolan Lavery from Chesterfield to help ease our mounting injury problems.
Fellow striker Will Keane limped off with an ankle problem during yesterday’s draw against Fulham and, with Sergei Bus already sidelined, Stuart Gray has activated Lavery’s 24-hour recall clause in the arrangement with the Spireites.
The young striker recently extended his temporary stint at the Proact Stadium to cover the rest of the season but he could well now find himself in the squad travelling to Wolves for Tuesday night’s clash.
* Paul Corry made his loan debut for Carlisle at York on Saturday, coming on for the final 25 minutes of their goalless draw.
