Wednesday confirmed tonight that we have signed midfielder Stephen McPhail on a contract which runs until January.
The former Cardiff, Leeds and Barnsley player, who was with Dave Jones at the Welsh club, has been training with us in recent months.
McPhail, 33, was diagnosed with lymphoma in November 2009, while with Cardiff, but returned to action three months later. He missed mch of the 2011-12 campaign through illness but remained with the club until he was released at the end of last season.
