Jos Luhukay felt his injury-hit Wednesday side were worth their point after the 1-1 draw at Barnsley.
We managed just one shot on target through Atdhe Nuhiu’s goalsoring penalty, while Joe Wildsmith performed well at the other end to prevent Barnsley taking all three points, but Luhukay said: “I think a draw was correct. We scored, then they scored very quickly and we did not manage to stay in the lead for too long.
“After this, they had chances, we had chances, so it was even and fair.
“The tempo of the game was very good like a typical derby. My players gave everything into this game and it would have been hard on them to take nothing away.”
Daniel Pudil should be available for Tuesday’s home game with Derby after his one-match ban and Luhukay said Glenn Loovens could be fit to return after illness kept him out of the Barnsley game.
