Caretaker Steve Agnew was clearly unhappy with what he saw as Wednesday slumped to a gutless 3-0 defeat at Hull.
The caretaker boss said: “It was a disappointing result and a bitterly disappointing performance. We were never in the game, never showed any desire and Hull thoroughly deserved the win.
“It does tell us things about the players and they have to understand what we require.”
Agnew said, apart from some early saves from Keiren Westwood, he could take few positives from the game and added: “That performance is way, way below what we would ask for.
“When the second goal went in we made it easy for the opposition. We lacked the resilience to claw ourselves back into the game.”
