Wednesday’s final game of the Championship season at Watford on May 2 will be a lunchtime kick off, with all matches in the division starting at 12.15pm.
Meanwhile, the Football League is to introduce the ‘vanishing spray’ for referees from the start of the new year. The spray, first seen at the World Cup in the summer, has already been successfully used in the Premier League and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy this season.
