Neil Warnock is reported to be on a five-man shortlist for the vacant Wednesday manager’s job.
The ex-Sheff U man has indicated he would be interested in taking the job until the end of the season and is said to be amongst a handful of contenders as Milan Mandaric begins inerviewing for the position.
However, Rotherham have now refused Wednesday permission to talk to their manager, Steve Jones, about the job.
