Trio eye recalls for Wigan test

Lucas Joao is back to full fitness ahead of Saturday’s home game with Wigan.

Joao, who has won the Sky Championship Goal of the Month for December for his effort at Blackburn, has been sidelined since getting injured at Middlesbrough on Boxing Day but caretaker boss Steve Agnew says he is in good shape and ready to return to action.

Keiren Westwood has recovered from his toe injury and Sam Hutchinson should also be fit to make the squad after missing the midweek Luton cup tie with a knock picked up at Hull last Saturday.

Joey Pelupessy is still ruled out with ankle ligament damage.

We go into the game looking to bounce back to form in the Championship, the 3-0 defeat at Hull ending a run of four matches without defeat.
