Reports this evening are indicating that Wednesday’s transfer embargo has been lifted as we prepare for the upcoming season.
The Sheffield Star website says we are not included in an EFL-published list showing clubs working under such an embargo, meaning manager Darren Moore can hopefully begin a full-blown recruitment drive before next month’s division one kick off.
This follows the club releasing its accounts for the 2019-20 season earlier this week, the delay in doing so thought to have been the reason for being placed under the embargo.
