Garry Monk believes top two West Brom and Leeds have squads ahead of anyone else in the chase for the automatic promotion places to the Premier League.
Wednesday sit in third place in the table but eight points behind second-placed Leeds and a further three adrift of leaders West Brom and Monk said ahead of our Boxing Day game at Stoke: “In terms of squad dynamic, I think they are ahead of anyone else in this league and that’s why they are where they are.
“I think it’s for those two teams to lose their positions, I don’t see that happening but we know that in this league anything can happen.
“But we’re not really focussed on them if I’m honest with you, we are focussed on ourselves game by game, getting the maximum from each game.”
