Third injury blow as Dele-Bashiru is sidelined

Midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru could be out for six weeks after suffering an ankle injury at Brentford on Wednesday evening.

The 20-year-old came on as a substitute on 55 minutes but lasted just over 20 minutes before a poor tackle by Henrik Dalsgaard forced him off the field, also earning the Bees player a yellow card.

Caretaker boss, Neil Thompson, confirmed today that Dele-Bashiru turned his ankle as a result of the challenge and is expected to be sideliend for between four to six weeks.

This comes after the news that Keiren Westwood has damaged ribs, which kept him out at Brentford, while midfielder Massimo Luongo is likely to be missing for another five weeks following a knee problem in training.
