Jos Luhukay praised the all-round team effort after Wednesday’s single goal win at Hull on Saturday afternoon.
Having seen the Owls collect three points to ensure Championship survival and also not conceding a goal for the first time in 12 games, Luhukay said: “The team gave everything … today we were a team.”
The manager felt we played particularly well in the first half, coming under more pressure after the interval, and he added: “We fought well, we had a little bit of luck in the last minute when they missed with a header … but the players showed unbelievable character and mentality.”
