Steve Bruce has celebrated his first day as Wednesday boss by signing Wolves defender Dominic Iorfa for a reported £500,000 fee.
Bruce revealed at his ‘welcome’ press conference on Thursday afternoon that he was hoping to bring some new faces into the club before the transfer deadline hours later.
And it was confirmed at about 10pm that right back Iorfa, 23, has signed in a permanent deal.
Iorfa joined the Wolves academy as a 15-year-old and played 93 times for the club, also making 21 appearances on loan at Ipswich last season.
