With the new Championship season almost upon us we want to welcome even more of you to the London Owls family.
Going so close to a return to the top flight last season saw some excellent turnouts at Mabel’s Tavern in London for the vital Sky matches towards the end of the campaign and it highlighted just how many Southern-based Wednesday fans are around.
Now we are hoping to make it a bumper season for London Owls membership, with plenty of new faces hopefully combining with renewals from current members.
We’ve again held prices for the coming season, with a £5 fee for individuals, £10 for families (all living at the same address) and £2 for students and seniors.
Your financial support is of great importance, helping us to cover costs such as membership of APFSCIL (including entry fees for their sports leagues which we participate in), our Player of the Year trophy, keeping a PO Box number and other administrative expenses.
On the social side, we will again be taking part in darts, pool and football quiz competitions and hope to organise other evenings during the season. In addition, we will continue to have Central London meet-ups for our televised games – starting with the Villa clash on Sunday – and will be organising rail trips for matches wherever possible.
