Quartet hoping for a Rovers return as Wednesday get back to the league action

Wednesday have four players back in contention for a place in the starting line-up for Saturday’s tough trip to Tranmere.

Loanees Stephen Bywater and Ben Marshall are expected to be in the squad after missing the Morecambe cup tie under the agreements that brought them to S6, while skipper Rob Jones is available after having a nose operation which kept him out of the cup game.

Completing the returning quartet is young midfielder Liam Palmer who is back at Hillsborough after international duty with the Scotland under-21s.

Tranmere are just outside the play-offs and have only lost once in nine league games this season at Prenton Park. We are again assured of great support with Wednesday having sold out our 2,000 allocation for the game.
