Wednesday’s on-loan keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell will miss our home league game with Gillingham on November 13 after being called up for Northern Ireland for their two World Cup qualifiers later this month.
He is in the squad for the home matches against Lithuania on November 12 and then for the visit of Italy three days later, although Northern Ireland are already unable to reach the finals in Qatar next year.
Joe Wildsmith is set to step up to replace Peacock-Farrell against Gillingham. He could also be in goal for the FA Cup first round tie with Plymouth on Sunday and for the Papa John’s Trophy home match against Harrogate next Tuesday.
