Palmer wins club’s top player award

Liam Palmer has been voted swfc.co.uk Player of the Year, via the official website.

Palmer has progressed well this season, playing both in midfield and at right back, and wins his third end of season award, having already been named the Wise Old Owls Player of the Year and sharing the SODA award with London Owls winner, Chris Kirkland.

He received more than 30 per cent of votes for the online award, with Kieran Lee runner-up with over 20 per cent and Kirkland and Chris Maguire both polling 13 per cent of the votes.

Palmer, as with our winner Kirkland, will receive his trophy on the pitch prior to tomorrow’s game against Bolton.
