Palmer ready for return to action

Liam Palmer looks set to return to the starting line-up for Saturday’s trip to Forest.

Palmer completed his three-match ban last weekend but was ruled out of the midweek draw at Derby after suffering a slight injury in training.

However, Garry Monk now expects Palmer to be fit to slot in at full back at Forest in place of Moses Odubajo, who received a one-match ban following his sending off at Pride Park.

Sam Hutchinson starts a two-match suspension so Massimo Luongo could step up from the bench, while Kieran Lee and Joey Pelupessy will also be under consideration.

We go into the game in eighth place on 33 points, one behind fifth-placed Forest.
