Liam Palmer has agreed a deal to keep him at Hillsborough until 2019.
Palmer has established himself as a regular member of the first team squad since making his debut five years ago and this season has vied for the right back position with Jack Hunt.
The academy product and Wednesday fan has already made 140 appearances for the club.
