Daniel Pudil is an injury doubt as Wednesday prepare for the visit of Millwall on Tuesday evening.
Pudil returned to the starting line-up against Barnsley on Saturday but was forced off midway through the second half with what appeared to be a hamstring problem and now awaits the result of a scan to determine the seriousness of the injury.
Carlos Carvalhal said: “It depends on the scan, if it is a small problem it will mean a few days, if it doesn’t show anything and was just a stretch of the muscle then he will be okay.
“Let’s see after the scan – but it is nothing serious.”
Glenn Loovens is available after missing the Barnsley game through suspension.
Wednesday go into the match with just one win in our last seven Championship outings, needing three points to end the poor run and to ease at least a little of the pressure on head coach Carvalhal.
