The Owls will be monitoring the fitness of Glenn Loovens and Sam Hutchinson ahead of Wednesday evening’s visit of Sunderland.
Both players limped off inside the first 25 minutes of the 1-1 draw with QPR after taking knocks, Carlos Carvahal saying afterwards that he hopes Loovens will be fit for the midweek clash while he awaits a doctor’s report on Hutchinson’s injury.
Ross Wallace, Barry Bannan and Keiren Westwood will also be assessed after picking up lesser injuries.
