Owls unveil home shirt for new campaign

Wednesday will be playing in our traditional blue and white stripes next season and with the club’s new sponsor ‘Azerbaijan Land of Fire’ emblazoned on the front of the shirt.

The new home shirt is made by Sondico and includes a 3D effect on the club badge. In addition, the neckline incorporates our WAWAW tag, which will also be included on all replica shirts and training kit.

Fans will be able to buy the new shirt for the first time at the Owls in the Park event on Sunday with prices held from last season, adult shirts starting at £40 and juniors from £30. It will also be available from that time both at the megastore and online, with the new away shirt being unveiled next week.

The shirt sponsorship deal will see the ‘Azerbaijan Land of Fire’ logo – as worn by Spanish La Liga champions Atletico Madrid and newly-promoted French Ligue 1 side RC Lens – on both home and away kits.

The ‘Azerbaijan Land of Fire’ brand is led by owner-in-waiting, Hafiz Mammadov, and he said: “This is a very proud day for myself and my country. To marry ‘Azerbaijan Land of Fire’ to a club with the history and heritage of Sheffield Wednesday in English football is the perfect match.”

The new home shirt is now displayed on the club website.
