Young Argentine winger Manuel Hidalgo has joined Wednesday from Italian side Triestina for an undisclosed fee.
Hidalgo, 20, has signed on a permanent deal after a trial period at S6 and said: “I know I need to take some steps towards the first team. I played for the first team in Italy and I know it’s not the same here.
“I want to play first for the under-23s but my main goal is to play for the first team.”
He began his career as a 16-year-old at Benfica before moving to Italy two years later.
