Owls looking to stay in play-off places

Garry Monk will name a largely unchanged squad for tomorrow’s home match with Blackburn Rovers.

Skipper Tom Lees is fit to return after illness ruled him out of last weekend’s victory over former club Leeds and Monk can be expected to recall him to the 18. However, the Owls boss may leave him on the bench following the outstanding 2-0 success at Elland Road.

In addition, Monk will need to decide whether to start with Atdhe Nuhiu up front, the striker having come on as a sub with 20 minutes left at Leeds and chalking up an assist for the first goal, before scoring the clincher in added time.

Kadeem Harris may return to the starting line-up while there could also be a home debut for young full back Osaze Urhoghide.

We go into the match in sixth place and looking to stay in the play-off places while Blackburn are looking for their first win in six games.

On the injury front, Liam Palmer (ankle) and Fernando Forestieri (knee) are expected to be back in full training next week.
