Wednesday have made early enquiries about extending loan deals for Royston Drenthe and Lewis McGugan.
Stuart Gray has confirmed the Owls have spoken with their respective clubs about the possibility of keeping both players after their current agreements run out at the start of January.
He said: “We want them to stay, I think they are keen to stay and now the most important thing is the decision from their parent clubs, Watford and Reading.”
