Wednesday turned in another poor performance and we have to travel to division one MK Dons for an FA Cup third round replay after a goalless draw at Hillsborough today.
Dave Jones rested some players, with Bywater, Taylor and Maguire all drafted into the side, but it was another highly disappointing display with Wednesday hardly troubling MK Dons and the visitors going closest in the final 15 minutes – Bywater pulling off an excellent save to deny ex-Owl Darren Potter.
It was a performance that hardly gave confidence for our challenge ahead to stay in the Championship and means we now face a replay we could have done without.
