An equaliser in added time from Sam Baldock robbed Wednesday of a six-point Bank Holiday weekend at Bristol City this afternoon.
Jermaine Johnson’s excellent individual effort on 36 minutes put us ahead against the run of play and we might have twice increased the lead early in the second-half, first through Johnson again and then when substitute Leroy Lita shot into the side netting in a one-to-one.
Wednesday contained City better after the break but, just when the three points were within touching distance, Baldock fired home with the Owls claiming that Chris Kirkland had been fouled as he tried to collect the cross that led to the goal.
