Onomah to replace banned Bannan?

Josh Onomah looks to be the likely replacement for suspended Barry Bannan when we take on third-placed West Brom in another televised game at Hillsborough on Wednesday evening.

The Tottenham loanee could well slot into the midfield as Bannan serves a one-match ban after receiving his fifth booking of the season against Leeds.

We wait to see if Ash Baker has recovered from the leg problem that forced him off against Leeds on Friday night, Daniel Pudil faces a fitness check on Wednesday morning after suffering a broken nose at Villa and missing the Leeds game, while Marco Matias is expected to be out for a further fortnight with a hamstring injury.

Wednesday go into the game unbeaten in seven league matches at S6 and knowing that victory could take us into the play-off positions, while a win for West Brom would be a fourth win in a row and see them back on top of the Championship.
