O’Grady faces fitness test for Watford clash

Chris O’Grady could be back from injury for tomorrow’s important home clash with Watford.

He was dropped for the trip to Middlesbrough earlier this month and then sustained a foot injury which was expected to keep him out for a fortnight.

Dave Jones has confirmed that O’Grady trained today and his fitness will be assessed ahead of the Watford game.

If he is deemed fit to play, then O’Grady may be in the startng line-up after Wednesday’s punchless performance at home to Leicester on Saturday that saw us drop back into the bottom three.

Jones, who finds himself under continued pressure after just two wins in 16 games, says he speaks with chairman Milan Manadaric every day and that he has been supportive. He added: “Everyone is concerned, but these players are good eough to get out of it.”
