O’Grady and Weaver the cup heroes as Owls go through

A late angled strike from Chris O’Grady sent Wednesday into the fourth round of the FA Cup against West Ham at Hillsborough on Sunday afternoon.

O’Grady, criticised by some fans for his lack of goals, proved to the the match-winner on 88 minutes while Nicky Weaver was the other Owls hero with a second-half penalty save from Sam Baldock, with the game goalless.

And even an incredible 11 minutes added time – mostly due to a lengthy second-half hold-up which saw Julian Benett stretchered off with a head injury – couldn’t stop Wednesday from moving into the round four.
