O’Connor ruled out of Oldham clash following training injury

James O’Connor will miss Saturday’s trip to Oldham with a shin injury.
The midfielder was ruled out of the Aldershot cup tie after suffering a gashed shin in training and the cut is deep enough to sideline him for the game at Boundary Park.
We have been given an extra 1600 tickets for the game after selling out our initial 3000 allocation.
Meanwhile, Wednesday are expected to announce full details of their FA Cup third round home tie with West Ham on Friday. With Sheff U also at home in the cup, one of the games could be moved to the Sunday – the matches due to be played over the weekend of January 7 and 8.
