Rumours that Wednesday might be ready to offer Atdhe Nuhiu a new contract ended this evening when the striker signed for Cypriot side, APOEL Nicosia.
Nuhiu, who joined us back in 2013, was not offered a new deal at the end of last season and now comes the news that he has joined Cypriot division one side, APOEL, one of the country’s most successful clubs.
Fellow ex-Wednesday striker, Sam Winnall, has also found a new club, signing for division one Oxford United after being released at the end of the last campaign.
