Wednesday’s FA Cup fifth round tie with Charlton at Hillsborough will now be played next Monday, February 24, kick off 7.45pm.
The tie, which was postponed on Saturday because of a waterlogged pitch, would have been rescheduled for February 25 but UEFA rules deem that FA Cup games are not permitted to take place on the same day as European fixtures.
We go into the match knowing that victory would set up a Steel City derby against Sheff U at Bramall Lane over the weekend of March 8-9.
Meanwhile the rearranged home league game with QPR, scheduled for February 25, has now been switched again – this time to March 18.
