The end could be in sight for Wednesday fans wanting to buy our new kits.
After months of delays, a club spokesman has said “We are confident the kits will go on sale later this month.
“Whilst the fans are as frustrated as we are, they have been understanding of the situation after a full and frank explanation was offered at a recent fans’ forum.”
The initial problems occurred when the planned new kit supplier apparently demanded double the figure originally agreed and Wednesday decided to look elsewhere.
This led to the kits being revealed just 72 hours before the new season and not being on sale to the public, leading to a big disappointment when they were still unavailable for last weekend’s Owls in the Park event.
