Moore eyes changes for Shrewsbury trip

Darren Moore could make changes for tomorrow’s trip to Shrewsbury following the 5-0 thrashing at Sunderland on Thursday night.

The manager described the defeat as a “disastrous evening” for the Owls and highlighted the lack of resilience shown by the side.

We wait to see if Chey Dunkley is fit to play, having been subbed in the first half at the Stadium of Light when he felt a tightening of his hamstring in his first outing following an injury lay-off.

There is also a question mark over whether Josh Windass might return at Shrewsbury, having been left out of the squad at Sunderland after what Moore described as a minor injury.

Theo Corbeanu and Dennis Adeniran could get places in the starting line-up tomorrow after going on as subs during the second half at Sunderland.

Ciaran Brennan, who replaced Dunkley on Wearside, may also start the game while we wait to see if Sam Hutchinson is ready for a place in the squad after his long lay-off.

Massimo Luongo will again be absent as he serves the final match of his three-game ban.

We go into the clash in eighth place, six points adrift of a play-off spot and trailing leaders Rotherham by 13 points.

Shrewsbury have improved after a poor start to the season and have only lost two of their last seven matches.
