Darren Moore was full of praise for man-of-the-match Theo Corbeanu after the on-loan Wolves striker’s performance in the wind and rain at Mansfield tonight.
Fittingly, it was Corbeanu who set up the injury-time winner for Florian Kamberi after he posed the main threats to the home side, and Moore said afterwards: “He was a real threat and a constant menace to Mansfield.
“I thought he gave us a wonderful outlet tonight, we got the ball to him in the right areas and he’s popped up with the assist for the winner as well.”
The Owls boss, who was also impressed with the long-awaited appearance of loanee defender Lewis Gibson in the first 45 minutes, added:: “I thought in the last 15 minutes we got stronger and stronger and was just pleased to get the winning goal late on.”
