Young winger Danny Mayor has left Wednesday on an initial 28-day loan deal to division two Southend.
Mayor has failed to establish hmself in the first team snce joining us from Preston and the loan spell to Paul Sturrock’s side will give him the chance to get some regular Football League action under his belt.
He goes straight into the squad for tonight’s league game against Cheltenham at Roots Hall.
