Stevie May can expect to get some game time when Scotland play two matches at Hampden Park in the next five days.
May is one of four forwards in the squad selected by Gordon Strachan for the friendly against Northern Ireland on Wednesday evening and then a European Championship qualifier against minnows Gibraltar on Sunday.
Steven Fletcher, Jordan Rhodes and Stuart Naismith are the other three strikers chosen and Strachan has indicated that he aims to use his full squad against Northern Ireland.
Meanwhile, Jacques Maghoma has been called up to the Democratic Republic of Congo squad for their upcoming two friendlies against Iraq.
