Chris Maguire is expected to be back in the starting line-up for tomorrow night’s trip to Brentford.
Maguire sat out Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat to Watford as he was serving a one-game ban but is likely to replace loanee Hallam Hope, who had an ineffective 45 minutes before being subbed.
Sam Hutchinson will be missing from the midfield after suffering his knee injury against Watford, with Jose Semedo continuing to replace him after coming on as sub against the Hornets.
Royston Drenthe might have done enough to begin the game against the Bees, following his impressive second-half performance as substitute on Saturday, but Stuart Gray still has doubts about the loanee winger’s fitness to last 90 minutes.
Jeremy Helan and Atdhe Nuhiu could also both come into Gray’s considerations for starting places after Wednesday were totally outplayed by Watford.
