Jacques Maghoma could be a surprise inclusion in the Wednesday squad for the season finale at Ipswich on Saturday.
Maghoma has been sidelined with knee ligament damage suffered in the defeat at Wigan in March and was expected to be out for the season.
However, Stuart Gray says he has been training in recent days and might feature at some stage of the game at Portman Road.
Chris Maguire is expected to start the match after missing Saturday’s home defeat to Bolton as he was attending his grandmother’s funeral while Sam Hutchinson could return after serving a two-match ban.
