Gary Madine says he would be happy to extend his loan spell at division one Coventry.
Madine has scored one goal in his three games at the Ricoh and, with the initial one-month loan coming to an end, has indicated he would welcome a prolonged period with the Sky Blues.
Madine, who has two games left – at Colchester and at home to Walsall – said: “An extension hasn’t been mentioned yet but I’m sure something will be sorted out when the time comes.
“I just love playing football and one of the main reasons for coming here to Coventry was the real interest Steven Pressley showed. He really wanted me here. I need to feel loved and he gave me that.
“And I’d be happy to extend my stay if that’s what Coventry want and Sheffield Wednesday are OK about it.”
